Ţara Bârsei/The Burzenland
The historical region of the Ţara Bârsei/Burzenland/Barcaság is located in southeast Transylvania. The unofficial capital of the Burzenland is Braşov/Kronstadt. In recent years, the region has been an increasingly popular tourism destination, thanks to its many places of interest, such as the historical city centre of Braşov/Kronstadt with the Black Church, "Dracula's Castle" in Bran/Törzburg, the fortified church in Prejmer/Tartlau (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and the ski resort Poiana Braşov/Schulerau.
